Properties:
A tall and majestic looking tree, with origins referenced from the biblical cedars of Lebanon. The essential oil is produced through the process of steam distillation using wood chips. Cedarwood is known as the tree of life and is thought to impart courage. In past times, it was famous for being the oil that David anointed himself with before fighting Goliath.

Main Uses:
In aromatherapy treatments, Cedarwood is thought to help offer a calming and soothing effect on the mind, considered to be beneficial in the treatment for the respiratory syestem and also for easing anxiety and tensions. Considered to be beneficial in helping with many treatments for ailments of the skin.
Cedarwood is thought to be good for greasy skin, acne, dandruff and other skin irritations. Its stimulating effect on the senses are believed to act like an aphrodisiac and encourages improved breathing.

bergamot, jasmine, ylang ylang, rosemary
