Properties:
The essential oil is extracted through the process of cold pressing using the fruit peel. The oil is a yellow to green liquid and has a distinctive sharp and citrusy aroma.

Main Uses:
In massage, Lime Essential Oil is thought to be helpful to reduce cellulite. When used in aromatherapy and vaporiser treatments, it is intended to alleviate anxiety, nervousness, fatigue and stress. Lime essential oil can also lift the spirits, refresh the mind and aid concentration.

In skin care, Lime essential oil is popularly used in preparations intended to soothe acne and is a popular ingredient in cleansers, toners and insect repellents. Due to the naturally present anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, Lime oil is also used as an ingredient in treatments for athlete’s foot and other fungal infections.
