Properties:
Nutmeg essential oil is extracted from a tree often found in the West Indies. The essential oil is extracted through the process of steam distillation of the dried, crushed seeds and is a pale yellow colour in appearance with a spicy and warm aroma.

Main Uses:
This essential oil is often used as a fragrance in men’s colognes and aftershaves and also in perfumes, lotions, creams and balms. Known to be effective in massage for aches and pains. In aromatherapy, it can ease fatigue and anxiety and it can be a great aide in combating fatigue and providing an uplifting effect. ​​

Blends Well With:
Black Pepper, Rosemary, Cedarwood, Fennel, Lime, Geranium, Orange and Clary Sage

100% Nutmeg Essential Oil

INCI: Myristica fragrans

Main constituents are:
borneol, camphene, cymol, myristicine, dipentene, geraniol, linalool, sapol, pinene, terpineol, acetic, butyric, caprilic, formic and myristic acids.

Indications:
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Note: For external use only. Do not ingest. Care and Caution:Use in moderation. Should avoid use during pregnancy. We would recommend only knowledgeable practitioners use Mace or Nutmeg oils due to their narcotic properties
