Description

Properties:
Vanilla extract has a sweet and luxurious aroma. Unlike infused vanilla oil – which is a carrier oil such as sunflower that has been infused with vanilla pods and retains few of the therapeutic properties of vanilla and a fraction of the aroma and flavour – vanilla extract is a viscous liquid extracted directly from the fruit of the vanilla plant.

Main Uses:
It is often used as a fragrance in perfumes, creams, balms, soaps and lotions for its pleasing aroma. Is also considered beneficial for aches and pains when used in massage. For aromatherapy, it can ease stress, tension and PMT.

Blends Well with:
Grapefruit, mandarin, lemon and sandalwood

Main Constituents:
Vanillin, eugenol and caproic acid

Indications:
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
