Beeswax is a natural product created by honey bees to construct the honeycomb cells used to store food (honey and pollen) and a place to raise their young. Typically, it will require approximately 4.5Kg of honey to produce one pound of beeswax. Studies have indicated that beeswax may reduce some types of bacteria and fungus when combined with honey, so could be beneficial in the relief of nappy rash.
100% pure Beeswax. Naturally fragrant beeswax burns cleaner and longer than petroleum-based waxes. Beeswax beads are great to use to make candles.
Properties: Self-emulsifying wax for making o/w emulsions (cream and lotions) that are bright & fluid with enhanced emollience & spreadability.
Use: Heat to 60-70°C/140-158°F to melt the pellets. Typical use level 1-10%. For external use only.
Applications: Creams, lotions, ointments, pomades, emulsions, cold creams & salves.
