Description

Skin lightening agent made from bearberry leaves extract (arctostaphylos uva-ursi) & vitamin C (magnesium ascorbyl phosphate). Preserved with sodium benzoate, sodium metabisulfite, and phenoxyethanol. Clear white powder. Soluble in water.

Bearberry extract is able to inhibit production of melanin pigments in skin cells. Improves the appearance of age spots and dark skin areas. Very popular in Asian countries to depigment the skin.

Use: Recommended use level 4-8%, only 1% when combined with exfoliants, add to the water phase (not over 60°C/140°F) or to finished products, stable in the pH-range of 4.0 to 7.0. For external use only.

Applications: All kinds of skin-lightening products including lotions, creams, fluids, makeup products.
