Description

Properties:
It has a stronger odour than refined oil and is also cloudier in appearance as minute particles of the seed are present in the oil. The oil is extracted through the process of cold pressing using the seeds. It also known as starflower oil due to the plants flowers being star-shaped.

Main Uses:
It has been known to be beneficial in nourishing the skin and considered helpful in treatment of psoriasis, eczema and dry skin conditions. It is considered useful in helping reduce the appearance of stretch marks, the swelling of acne and can help keep the skin supple and young in appearance.
Use in skincare for creams, lotions and balms. Use as a massage oil base, blend with essential oils for added benefits of the chosen essential oils. Always seek a professionals advice for accurate measurement of blends. Can be used as a gentle and effective cleanser and make-up remover.
