Properties:
The essential oil is extracted through the process of steam distillation using the flowers. The oil is usually extracted from the flowers within 24 hours to achieve the optimum results. It has a fragrance that is similar to honey and is very fruity smelling with a slight earthy undertone.
Main Uses:
In aromatherapy, this oil is thought to be useful for treating respiratory conditions, easing phlegm and blocked sinuses. It is also considered to be beneficial in helping low moods due to its uplifting nature. In massage, it is thought to be of great benefit in helping with muscle aches, joint aches and pains. In skincare, it can be used in lotions, creams and balms and it may help relieve and heal acne and scars as well as having anti-ageing properties.

Main constituents are:
alpha-pinene, camphene, beta-pinene, myrcene, limonene, neryl acetate, 1,8-cineole, linalool, terpinen-4-ol, nerol, geraniol, italidone, eugenol and beta-diketones.
