Oatmeal (Avena Sativa kernel flour) is the powder resulting from the grinding of whole oat grains. There is little of the oat which does not have a cosmetic use as the hull has been subject to an innovative process to produce effective face and body exfoliants. Contains a variety of active ingredients including beta-glucans (responsible for water-holding functions), phenols, starch, savenacins, saponins, flavanoids, and also vitamin E. Fine light tan powder.
It is used as a thickener, binder and protein source in skin care products. Our fine grain colloidal oatmeal has has a particle size of 74 microns US mesh 200.

Benefits: Soothes stressed, blemished and irritated skin. Also helps to relieve dry and itchy skin. Oatmeal can be added to warm bath water a home remedy for itchy or dry skin.

It can be used in creams, body butters, lotions, soaps, bath treatments, shower gels, shampoos, pet care products, protective creams, facials and milk baths. Combine with powdered milk, herbs, honey, starches, nut meals or clays. It works nicely in a blend of our Honey and Goat’s Milk melt & pour bases scented with our Oatmeal, Milk & Honey fragrance
