Description

Properties:
The essential oil is extracted through using the cold press process, using the rind to express and produce the oil from. The colour of the oil can be very pale and with a greenish and orange tinge to it. A rich and deep citrus fragrance with a sweet aroma. High in the chemical constituent, d-limonene, which is thought to be a powerful antioxidant, that will help rejuvenate skin and is considered helpful in maintaining moisture and oil balance in the skin. It is thought that in aromatherapy treatments, it can help ease stress and relieve tensions as it has a calming and relaxing effect on the mind and thoughts. In massage, it is thought beneficial for aches and pains, thought to bring relief from the antioxidants which are believed to reduce pain, highly moisturising for the skin and ideal for a calming massage. When used in skincare, it is thought to be beneficial for balancing of the oil and moisture of the skin and can help with excessive oil, dry skin and is suitable for most skin types.
