Properties:
The essential oil is extracted through the process of steam or water distillation using the flowers and leaves of the plant. It is a pale clear to golden amber in colour of appearance and has sweet herbaceous-like aroma. Egyptians would have once used Thyme in the embalming process and this herb has also been known amongst Greek traditions for use of this herb in medicinal applications.
Main Uses:
The warming properties of this oil make it ideally suited for the treatment of and thought to be helpful for arthritic condition, rheumatism and sciatica.
In aromatherapy and vaporiser treatments, it is thought to be effective in the treatment of colds and flu. It is also thought to be effective at treating muscular aches and pains.
It is known to be effective and thought to be helpful in massage for the treatment of colds and flu and eczema.

100% Thyme Oil
Main Constituents:
a-pinene, b-pinene, camphene, a-terpinen, linalool, borneol and carvacrol
Indications:
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
